« on: December 30, 2013, 09:16:45 AM »
I don't drink or smoke  i'm 29 female. On Saturday I noticed a white spot on the inside of my lip. later on that night I noticed that side of my lip was puffy on the outside under  the lip. it's still puffy.  I'm so scared.

Stress and anxiety can cause white spots in the inside of the mouth.  If it doesn't go away in 2 weeks, go see a doctor.  I recently thought I had oral cancer so I googled a lot about it.  I'm a 28 year old female nondrinker and nonsmoker.  Chances of getting oral cancer at our age is less than 1 in 100,000.

It's the fact that under my lip is swollen on the out side it's driving me nuts.

I would suggest going to your doctor for reassurance if you're really worried. I also have worries of oral cancer even though I'm 19 and do not smoke/drink. They might be ulcers? I get small white ones on my tongue A LOT, they are not fun.
