Hello! :action-smiley-065:

My name is Eva and I am a mother of 4 (ages 13, 7, 5 and 4). I am a survivor of OCD and I am a former Hoarder (Junk free for almost 2 years). I live in Ontario with my Fiance, my children and my 2 dogs.

I made a decision this year that I was going to stop hiding myself away from the eyes of others for fear of being judged for my illness. This is my first step into Acceptance.

I look forward to getting to know you guys (and gals) and sharing in your stories and experiences.  :happy0151:

Hi Eva,

Welcome to the forum.  It is great to have you as a member.  This is a wonderful place to get advice and support from people going through similar situations.  The members here are very helpful. It is nice to know we are not alone.

Feel free to explore the forum.  There are lots of useful topics to read.  Feel free to post and ask questions.  If you have specific concerns or questions start a topic in the appropriate section to get the best feedback. There is also a chat room for members 18 years and older that you can access once you have made three meaningful posts in the forum.

I think this is a great first step toward acceptance.  I have found a lot of support and understanding here on the site that has helped me to be more comfortable and open about my anxiety.  Just the ability to not hide for once has been a great help to me and I am sure it will be for you too.   I hope you find the help and support you are looking for here.

Again welcome to our community.
