My introduction
« on: December 26, 2013, 11:11:30 PM »
Hello all,

I am glad to have found what looks to be a good resource to help deal with this debilitating affliction called anxiety.  It has really sent my life down the crapper over the past few years and I am bound and determined to get back to a "normal" state of mind and body and start enjoying life again.

I have always been a worrier even as a little kid, usually it was something I could handle but at my previous job it just became an overwhelming sense of dread and fear every single second of every day. I did not want to walk through those doors five days a week, but I soldiered on for years, when deep down I know I shouldn't have.  Well it all came to a head and finally I am free of that place.  The anxiety has tapered off some over the past couple weeks since then but I get the feeling that I am likely to spend weeks to months "winding down" and hopefully start that road back to full recovery.
