Heart Attack Fears- Again
« on: December 25, 2013, 01:43:56 PM »
Merry Christmas. In this saga of Queen Cardiochondria, today, after eating, I had bloating and severe striking left breast pain that radiated into the right side of my back and then, in shock from pain, it felt like I was going to stop breathing. The pains went away, but now I still feel like I can't breathe and now the left side of my body keeps having muscle spasms and my breathing issues [which I posted about a couple days ago] haven't stopped and I fear that I've had a silent heart attack. I'm 15, 5'5, and 165 pounds. I don't exercise a whole lot. No history of heart disease that I know of [mom is adopted].

You say you are 15?  My guess is that it's no heart attack....my thoughts would be more along the lines of trapped gas.  Try taking a slow walk and stretching your arms upward and see if you can get rid of some of that trapped gas.

My thoughts were also that it was gas, I do belch a lot and when I do belch, it's very long and very harsh sounding. Almost like there's something wrong with my gallbladder or something, but my mom just had gallbladder surgery.

I doubt it's your gallbladder either.....with anxiety sometimes we tend to take deeper or faster breaths without even realizing, and this could be causing you to take in more air and having more gas.....you also may be eating more or even faster with the holidays.  Try the walking and the stretching and see if this helps

I also get squeezing in the left breast with this and the burping, and a twinge of pain very often in my left chest area, but only in a very small place on it. I've had jaw pain for about a week or two, intermittently as well.
