Half my face and arm goes numb occasionally and ER told me it's due to anxiety. I found it hard to believe but seeing as I'm mega anxious, it's likely!

zoloft

Check out this comprehensive and long list of adverse effects of zoloft.

And you say "only zoloft".   :angry-smiley-034: You should not think much of it. It's numbness in your lip. Is it anything else?

No. I'm saying it can cause some unwanted effects and that it's normal if you're experiencing something other than those main effects. But why do you take it? Are your panic attacks so severe that they disable you from doing anything, ranging from buying some bread at the bakery or going out for a drink? If not, maybe you should try going without zoloft. I'm gonna assume that you're from the USA. It is known that psychiatrists in USA prescribe happy pills like they're candy. I'm from Europe and in my country only a small percent of people ever go above tranqulizers and we know that psychiatry is not an exact science. You must take into account that scientist haven't figured out the brain for the most part. So how can you trust pscyhiatrists so unconditionally?

Dentists will answer your questions for free on the dental fear forum and I've seen questions about numb lip.  I seem to remember it being associated with TMJ which can be caused by stress.
