Ovarian Cancer fear is back
« on: December 14, 2013, 10:44:42 AM »
I have a fear of Ovarian cancer that goes away and then comes back. I'm worried because I have PCOS and have very irregular periods. I just got my period last month and ever since having it, I have a weird pain below my pelvis if that makes any sense. When I pee I feel it and I first noticed it while having sex (sorry tmi lol) I don't know what to think ;(

If you are really worried you should ask your OBGYN for a transvaginal ultrasound, but it sounds more like the pelvic pain is related to your period/PMS. Sorry I don't know much about PCOS but pelvic pain is common with irregular periods and  PMS/PMDD. From what I gather, ovarian cancer is often abdominal pain and bloating
