Anxiety and Pregnacy
« on: December 13, 2013, 02:10:24 PM »
Hello Everyone :action-smiley-065:
I wanted to start this topic to see if anyone else is going though or has been though the same thing. Most women w anxiety disorders are on some type of medication in order to deal with their symptoms. The question is if you are pregnant or in my case wanting to become pregnant...what to do during you pregnancy? Cold turkey your meds and not be able to barley function?
There has got to be another way.

Have you seen a therapist? I don't know what your specific anxiety is about, but often things can be dealt with using various therapy techniques.  I went through 2 pregnancies unmedicated, but I don't think I was very severe at the time. Perhaps getting to the root of the problem now before becoming a parent would be ideal.
