Went for an MRI Finally
« on: December 12, 2013, 10:42:31 AM »
Well I finally broke down and went for an MRI even though my GP and Neuro think stress and anxiety are my issues. With my intial symptom of left side leg tingling and pins and needs with electric jolts I was anxious but when I started to question my vision is when it got out of control. I fel like there is always pressure on my head and when i look away at something i get dizzy.

Of course this was after I heard of two celebs who have MS who presented with vision issues...I started looking for it I would say. Now I constantly focus on it but it does go away at times. At night in bed while watching TV for example. My sleep has been off..been on a sleeping pill too. I am just a mess.

Hopefully it will all come back ok. Had it at 2 yesterday so I assume if it was a brain tumor they would have sent me to the hospital by now.

I also have my first therapist appointment tonight. Either way it goes I will need that.

Usually doctors will tell you to get an MRI if they think it is necessary due to illness. I suffered from continual off and on dizziness for weeks and I was told an MRI was not necessary as the issue would correct itself and it did.

I hope it comes back ok. The imaging center sent me an email at 11:30am saying the results were sent to my GP.

So it only took them from 3:00pm yesterday to 11:30am today. I hope that is a good sign vs bad.

I should also stop reading other posts on here about MS. Now I am questioning my doctors choice of not using contrast and not getting the cervical MRI.
