Throbbing lump near belly button
« on: December 12, 2013, 09:23:25 AM »
Found this lump before that was throbbing. Had it checked for aortic anurysm. Wasn't that. Felt it again today and just by playing with it for a few seconds the gurgling noises became so much worse. I'm to the point now that this is DEF a tumor on my colon. Would an ultrasound see this ? I wanna run to my doc or to the ER.

An ultrasound would have picked up any abnormality.

When I had a colon cancer scare I got a super sore lump right next to my belly button. It was horrible when I touched it. Turned out I was fine afte colonoscopy and the lump went away. I now think it was a stress induced knot in my abdominal wall created by my freaking out.

Mine are not feeling completely empty in my rectum area. Small hems found.
And some left side pain.
Constant. Constant. Constant gurgling in my traverse and left colon

No blood found with stool test

JBG - My symptoms were 100% like yours. The loose anus and not feeling empty worried me. I felt like I was leaking in my pants when my mind was bad.

left side pain, belly button pain, loose stools all the time at its height. The gurgling was loud too but that was to be expected since my anxiety was causing me constant loose stool it was rushing it through the colon.

Mine is all gone now for 2 years and no worries. I still have that pain but figured out it is the tendon running in my abdomen. It hurts after a long run.

I had that too. A pain and knot on my right side of my belly button. I knew I had colon cancer. Plus I had blood in my stool every day for six months before I actually got a doctor to take me seriously. I had a polyp on the left side. Nothing near the knot. It is gone now. I am convinced it was all anxiety.
