Organs & Ribs PLEASE HELP
« on: December 07, 2013, 09:54:30 PM »
Laying on the couch tonight, I was rubbing my sore ribs (left side has been troubling me for quite sometime) and this time I felt something squishy and movable as I was rubbing. I felt it a couple of times and when I went to have my boyfriend feel it was gone. What could this be? Can organs possibly become caught in the ribs or somehow be misplaced to where they could be poking out of the ribs and maybe I pushed it back in? I'm scared and would really like any feedback. Thanks

It probably muscle, ligaments and cartilage. Soft tissue which protects the ribs.

A couple of years ago I did the same and I kept poking and prodding and feeling around. The result was it was so painful to walk and twist. I saw a Chiro and Sao explained that I had inflamed all the tissue around the ribs.

I'm going through this just now with my neck as I can't stop poking in at it and when I wake the next mornin my neck is so sore. When I leave it for a few days the ache goes away.y doctor said I'm inflaming the soft tissues.
