Anxiety induced dizzyness and feeling off balance
« on: December 03, 2013, 04:34:02 PM »
Once again, my panic/anxiety symptoms have changed. For almost a month now, when I am either sitting at the house or have to leave, I start to get very lightheaded, dizzy and off balance.

Now, I know that breathing too fast or too shallow will cause one to feel lightheaded and dizzy, but when I start to feel this way, I monitor my breathing so I know I am breathing normally.

So I am breathing normally but still have these feelings. Sometimes it gets so bad, I can barley stand.

Does this happen to anyone else? I am trying my hardest not to look into this as a medical problem (i.e. cancer, brain tumor, etc...)

Please let me know your thoughts.

Vertigo and dizziness are VERY common symptoms of anxiety!!  Breathing correctly can help the problem and so can distraction.

I know it's an irritating and very frightening symptom of anxiety!!

Yes, I used to feel dizzy & off balance all the time. I used to ignore it even thought it was really hard to do
