GAD and slightly elevated temperature...
« on: December 02, 2013, 05:46:16 PM »
I am currently having trouble with my GAD after being on Remeron for the last 3-4 years (it stopped working for me); was started on Celexa about 10 days ago.  From the episode that I had 4 years ago, as with this one, I have a warm, slightly red face.  I decided to take my temperature a number of times in the last few days, and it was slightly elevated (high of 99.7).  I know that with GAD our fight/flight response has gone haywire so it would make sense to me that this would perhaps increase the body's metabolize, and cause a slight increase in temperature.  Anyone else have a problem like this?  Any input would be very welcomed.  Thanks...  Chuck

Interesting you mention this, last week I was having a tough time with anxiety and notice my face red and felt warm. I didn't take my temperature, but when the anxiety calmed down so did the redness and warmth in my face.
