Inositol from what I have read, has very few side effects, as compared to any other natural supplement, or prescription medicine.
I know you do have to start off slowly, and for it to be effective for anxiety, you should be at around 16 grams.
I have actually heard story after story of people saying it reduced their anxiety to a point where it is ten times better, and for people with OCD, it has made the OCD nearly go away completely.
The worst side effects I have heard, is possible stomach upset. But it really does sound worthwhile trying.
I mean if the Mayo Clinic is recommending it as a supplement for anxiety, there has to be something to it.
