This was happening to me a few months ago... I had 2 doctors tell me it was stress-related because I was so tense.
When we are tense, muscles will tire and 'vibrate', 'twitch', 'flutter', 'get weak', etc....whatever we wanna call it.
Part of helping ourselves with our mental health challenges is our physical well-being. Exercising is a must. Pliable and toned muscles, ligaments and tendons are needed to feel pretty good, overall. So many of our niggling aches and pains are muscular in nature...from lack of use, poor posture or from being overly tense. Us anxiety peeps definitely have the 'tensed' part down:) But, we sure can do a whole lot to help ourselves in this regard. Deep breathing is essential. Breathing with our diaphragm is key...not shallow 'chest breathing'. Throughout the day, we can find ourselves literally clenched (without really being cognizant of it). I have found myself lying in bed tense....and when I finally realize this I make myself 'unclench', so to speak, through some deep breathing and visualizations and I will actually
feel myself lowering in the bed....releasing the tension and angst. We can get so worked up during each day that we need to pay attention to relieving this tension. Exercise, meditation / visualizations, stretching, proper breathing, mindfulness, etc. are known to help - really help!:) But, I understand how we, us HA peeps, can have a hard time envisioning getting lasting help with these habits and actions and mindsets as we truly feel there is something sinister lurking in our bods just waiting to pouce! We'll think, "How is breathing going to help my 'knowing' (really believing) I'm likely to die before my time from some terrible disease!"
Our actions and habits and techniques and mindsets matter. They soooooooooo matter:) Accepting this is half the battle....the other half (the doing....and the continued doing) is easy, as we can feel it working - eventually:)
Exercise and breathing and visualizations aren't everything in our healing path...but they sure are an important part:)
Peace and Feel Well:)
