Hello, Sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. I don't know anyone personally with MS, but I know stories of friends who know people with it. They all tell me how they wouldn't even know that they had MS if the individual hadn't told them to begin with. The path of MS is not straight forward, but luckily, you have the least aggressive form of the disease. Also, you are young, which means that the prognosis is almost always better. And hey, you never know what may be waiting on the horizon. Break throughs are being made all the time with MS. A cure is very possibly right around the corner. MS is not a fatal disease. Those who die from complications are generally elderly and or diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS, which you do not have. I have gone through a lot of distress and worry over this disease, researched it, talked to my neurologist about it. I hope that everything goes well, as I'm sure it will. You are not dying.
