What we ALL have to realise is that anxiety only breeds anxiety,
and we all need to memorise that, etch that into our psyche's, the minute we wake up we should remember that anxiety only breeds anxiety
and recall it often throughout the day, because the more we entertain anxious thoughts the more they come to visit us and so the "cure" if there is one, HAS to be non-anxiety - the opposite of anxiety and the opposite of anxiety is surely CALMNESS (no worries
But we cannot find calmness because we are anxious - yet ANXIETY ONLY BREEDS ANXIETY
so we have to remain calm to get out of it but we can't because we are anxious
it all FEELS like madness - no wonder we THINK we are going nuts!!! it is like a trap we can't get of, a cruel joke being played on us, a crazy catch 22 that has no solution.
But there is a solution and the solution is to not feed anxiety
- no matter what you are feeling and thinking you do not feed anxiety
. Now I know that is hard, but that is the answer. Has anxiety really ever helped anybody in any situation? And does not feeding our anxieties brings us relief?. So non-anxiety has to be the way then, surely?.
Non-anxiety brings us the relief we are looking for and when we get that relief it is then that we the see the way forwards that little bit clearer.
So, we do not feed our anxiety - BECAUSE ANXIETY ONLY BREEDS ANXIETY - it does nothing else for us (it really doesn't).
I realise that this is the simplest of answers, so simple in fact that it can't be the answer, can it? surely it is more complicated than that!! Well it isn't - yet paradoxically it is one off the hardest things to accomplish, but trust me, it is THE answer.
