Hi - I am back. Had a few HA free months after an abdominal ultrasound to rule out pancreas or liver issues and now I am convinced I have ovarian or lung cancer. I smoked for about 10 years, moderately heavy, about 10 a day. Quit 5 years ago and then started up for a few months earlier this year. I have had lower rib tenderness and pain off and on for about 10 years - no one knows why, never got any answers. Now, I am having extreme sternum pain and tenderness, from collarbone to the bottom where my bra sits. Sometimes my sternum will pop, but mostly it just hurts, especially when hunching my shoulders forward and together or twisting to one side. Costochondritis has been mentioned buy I have never been diagnosed. I have also developed frequent heartburn which I have not ever had before. Taking pantoprozole which helps with that. IBS symptoms, bloating, constipation/diarrhea, abdominal pain and tenderness. Just had some spinal xrays from the back and side. Can anyone please talk me off the ledge here. If I had lung cancer would those xrays have picked it up? If I had ovarian cancer, would my recent abdominal ultrasound have picked it up? I keep telling myself that it would, my bloodwork was all clean, urine was clean. I just walked 5 miles today - would I even be able to do that if I had cancer? Please, I am sick with worry and I just need some logic here to help me. I am 33 years old. I also just got over a bad cold/bronchitis, the cough is lingering for a couple weeks now which is adding to the fear.
