I went from 10 mgs to 20 on Celexa 7 days ago. The past 2 or 3 days I have been sweating out of the blue sometimes (mildly but all over), I had a couple days of gut crampiness and I have slightly to moderately increased anxiety. The first 2 weeks on Celexa 10 mgs I was really agitated and my anxiety was through the ROOF. Free floating anxiety, afraid of everything for about a week and a half, then the revving calmed down. I was also almost completely anorexic for two weeks (lost 10-15 lbs; my appetite is now improving) I also would wake up in the middle of the night all revved up. When I increased to 20 mgs the same symptom again -- waking up in the middle of the night almost every night and last night had insomnia and just stared at the wall for like an hour. I also notice that I have very little interest in sex (I get bored by the thought of it instead of excited.)
I also notice that I have some muscle soreness and the past couple of days I have felt muscle fatigue, like I get worn out more quickly when moving around. My arms, legs, shoulders, chest, back, all feel like I slept wrong. When I stretch my muscles to do things I feel the fatigue in the muscle. My iron is also low so I'm supposed to be taking iron pills 4 times a week and haven't been due to them being so constipating but my doc said I can take Miralax/restoralax every day without harm so I took an iron today. I get these prescription ones with like 325 mgs but you only absorb like 50 mgs or something. I'm always on the verge of anemia. My ferritin is supposed to be at least 15 and optimally 50 and it's always between 11 and 15 (and 15 is on a VERY GOOD day!) It's been down to 5 so I can't tell if the fatigue is from Celexa or if it's my anemia or my sleep apnea.
