About 6 months ago the first time I noticed a visual symptom was on a pair of checkered boxers, the lines seemed to be shimmering. A few months later I noticed the blue field entoptic phenomenon looking out the car window into the sky, which really freaked me out, now I always see it in the sky, but I looked it up and it seemed normal, so I stopped worrying so much. A couple months later I woke up with the ever so annoying visual snow, along with random pinpoint flashes of light, after images lingering in my vision, and my peripheral vision blinking black a split second on occasion. I have been seeing it for 1-2 months and my anxiety is crazy wondering whats wrong. I also started seeing more veins develop around my eyes, A big green one and lots of purple ones under my eyes. Maybe my anxiety is making me notice everything, also for years I have been randomly been feeling my blood start pumping hard in random spots, like my shoulders, leg, thigh, knee and back of head, it mostly happens when I'm laying or sitting, and pressure is applied to the body, it doesn't hurt, but feels like blood is having to shove its way through. Is that normal? I didn't exercise much or eat healthy, played lots of video games. After being so freaked out I have been doing 2 1/2 miles on treadmill, eating some veggies, and lots of apples and oranges for the past 2 weeks, along with taking multivitamins. Other then breathing heavy just climbing the stairs there is not much else, I get headrushes a lot and sometimes have pain behind eyes after staring at screen a long time.
I had a panic attack sort of, and went to the er worried it was high blood pressure, First reading when anxiety was bad was 170/90 after being in room it went down to 134/80. They did blood tests and everything was fine, blood was hard to get, Probably from lack of water. I drink LOTS now. I'm just so worried I want an MRI / Eyes checked out. No health insurance though, don't want to waste tons of money because stupid anxiety. I have never been diagnosed with anxiety and take no medication, but pretty sure I have it and social anxiety. When I told my mom she said "The stuff you see on blank surfaces?". We discussed it and shes lots of the other stuff I see and had visual snow since she was a little kid, which eases my mind a little. Could it be genetic? She also has anxiety and takes medication for it. Also around when I first started seeing the snow the skin under my right eye would get red and peel for weeks, which just recently went away. Now the past week I wake up seeing blue dots throughout vision with eye goo and very red eyes. It goes away within a minute, just recently went to get prescription for glasses, maybe pink eye. Lastly, When I was 10 years old I noticed a black dot on my penis I just scratched off, I told my parents but it was completely gone, maybe a tick. If never properly removed is that bad? I am 21 years old now, but I never showed any lyme symptoms, Could I have lyme disease for 11 years with NO symptoms and lyme finally spread to my brain?
That's about all my concerns. Just wanted to share my story. Maybe others can relate or share some advice. I probably need to be on medication, I worry way too much.
