Ahhh the wall of choices of a multi. It can be confusing. And there are formulas for different ages and needs.
It might be good to ask your dr. what is right for you.
I agree. NYGirl, I know you're on Zoloft, like me, however you should also ask your doctor about taking other supplements in conjunction with your current medication.
I started taking fish oil (Omega 3) and Gingko Biloba, and my doctor approved them, however he was very particular about how many tablets I took, since it may have an effect on how the Zoloft is having an effect on my body. He only recommended one tablet a day of both. Initially I was going to pop a lot of fish oil tablets, during lunch, dinner, between breaks, like regular multivitamins, but under his direction, he advises me at this point, to not do this, due to potential side effects in relation to the Zoloft. So for now, I am just taking one a day for both, until he feels I can increase the dosage.
He also told me not to take Lumiday since it has St Johns Wart, which could overkill the serotonin in conjunction with my prescribed antidepressant.
You may want to email your doctor's nurse assistant, which is what I do, and wait for your doctor's reply, about taking any supplements or multivitamins. It's better to ask, then to regret later, if a supplement may have an adverse effect on your current antidepressant.
