Whenever I google Anxiety Zone and Medication, I always stumble upon a thread about "How (someone) cured there anxiety without the use of medication." I'm aware Google is bringing up the word 'medication' from the search criteria, however it's also bringing up a post, as the top search result, that really is anti-medication. I guess this implies that people who want to learn about medication, through Anxiety Zone, want to get off it, instead of learning to manage living with it. This anti-medication thread gets a lot of hits, so Google keeps on bringing it up, as the top search result.
Consequently I posted my opinion about this on the Medication forum, since I know most of the visitors on this forum are serious about medication. If I were to post on the other forums, where more members seem to approach their anxiety disorders from a cognitive behavior approach, versus a medical approach, I'm sure I would get feedback that medication is really not the answer to an anxiety disorder.
And it's not the perfect cure all, since anxiety is managed differently be each person, however I wish there were more threads, which appeared at the top of Google search results, which showed people who actually use medication and benefit from it, instead of people with the inclination to just get off it. Yes people are inclined to not want to take medication, but there are people who should be taking medication, and Google really should direct them to more appropriate threads under the search term, medication.
Just my opinion.
