I'd been doing well, recently. Hadn't been checking symptoms or googling for a long time, and my attacks weren't as frequent. However, then came school
About two days ago, a pain started in my left calf. Towards the back. These past two days I assumed it was just a muscle ache and that it would pass. However, tonight I picked up my old googling habit.
Now I'm convinced it's a blood clot. I mean, summers just ended and I'd been laying around a lot. That and the fact that I'm overweight/obese.
I can't tell if it's actually swollen or if I'm just seeing things, but I tried comparing my legs. It does look a bit fuller than the other, and looks paler; Both of which are symptoms. I then pressed the back of my hand to the area that hurts to see if it was warm.. And it was. Warmer than the same spot on my other leg. That, plus I've had mild chest pains and breathing troubles the past few days. All symptoms of a clot. My toes are swollen too, I think. On both feet.
I'm about broken down into tears trying to decide if that's it or not. I'm really not sure, and I can't get to the hospital because I'm a 16 year old girl without a car. And I know my father won't believe my claims. So, I'm forced to come to the forum for some help, because really if I don't, I'll be stuck here all night in a right state of panic, I.E writing out a makeshift will, praying, and just overall preparing to die. Is there anything else that this could be? Would a real clot be more painful? My leg doesn't hurt too bad unless I'm walking on it. And even then, it's a bearable pain. Easy to walk and all. But still there. Right now, it's resting against my bed and I don't feel any pain. Though the more the hypochondria sets in, I can feel tingling along my calf and ankle.
Should I try and get to the hospital, or is this an irrational assumption? I'm absolutely terrified.
