As some of you may know, I've been struggling with lymphoma fears for almost four months now.
When I had my first CBC I was told everything was fine except my GFR which measured 114. (Im a 22 year old male. 5'10, 185 lbs, lifting weights the past four years. Been on a high protein diet including supplements)
I was told to get off any supplements for a month. Which I did. I actually stopped all supplements and reduced my protein intake from around 300g a day to around 70g a day .(I thought that would be wise if the protein was killing my kidneys) When I went back to the GP a month later my GFR was 121.
He sent my to a specialist where I had numerous of tests done over a couple of days.
They looked at my lymph nodes, got an ultrasound of my nodes and kidneys, had an xray done and CBC plus additional blood tests.
During those days I probably still had around 70g of protein a day, but I drank a lot of water.
Everything came back normal, and my GFR was 98-101 during those days.
Then I was told to do a 24 hour urine test because of my foamy urine. I did that test and waited three weeks.
Two weeks ago I had another bloodtest, and the day after they gave me the results.
My GFR was 105 and I had 0,3g of protein in my urine from the 24h test.
I've heard that ANY amount of protein in urine is bad, so I am certain I have kidney disease and will end up in dialysis :/
I haven't had a high protein diet for over 2 months now and I made sure that I didn't workout around a week before that urine test was done.
Today I decided to piss standing and directly into the toilet bowl again and see how foamy it is now (Been to scared to do so since I got the results)
The first picture was taken right after I was done, and the second one was taken 90 seconds after.
So as you see, it is not just a few bubbles
