Hi Jenn ,
I wanted to maybe help you out but also give you some advice and let you know that this a huge fear for many but many don't have one .
However I do mine is a Meningioma and it is NOT causing me any problems nothing I deal with is related to my Brain Tumor what I do deal with is Anxiety that causes body symptoms like dizziness from not breathing right or from Tension and Stress also body Posture is a Huge Factor in my pain in my neck and shoulders and also my head I can push on muscles and feel the pain.
I worked in Therapy for years and I also learned a lot by educating myself on Anxiety,Depression also Agoraphobia and much more and the worse part of all these is Negative Scary Thoughts also Hypochondria and the horrible body symptoms.. It all becomes a vicious cycle hard to break if not dealt with so getting Therapy is the first step and if Meds are needed then take those and also coming to accept you have Anxiety ..
Learning to relax will help pain ,Eating right, Drinking enough water, Exercise, I also will say always get checked out by a doctor and that is just common knowledge doesn't matter the age on Health issues.. But most of the time it is Anxiety.
People ask how did I find out I had one well by mistake or by The Lord who knows I just know I went in for chest pains due to anxiety and then some lab work came back odd and that is how I found out and I don't have headaches all the time I do from Chronic Tension yes and sometimes Migraines from stress and tension or Sinuses.
There are so many reasons a person can have head pains so Please don't think it is a Tumor but if it will ease your mind go get checked I tell everyone that .
Yes my Tumor needs to come out it is a slow growing one and so far it isn't Cancer so not all Brain Tumors are from Cancer so that is another huge mistake people make.
Also wanted to say make sure your body is alignment the spine being off can set pain sensations all through the body.
Take care and live today like there is no tomorrow and beat the Anxiety Monster back down!
