Hi there. Long story short, been dealing with health anxiety for about 7 years now. Was diagnosed when I was 18 and now 24. Was really worried about my health and thinking I had a heart problem but got over it and seemed to kick anxieties 0104 without any medication. Fast forward it a few years and its starting to rear its ugly head once again. I am really active and go to the gym 5 days per week. Met my girlfriend about 1 year and a half ago and all though we still trained together, diet went out the window and I gained about 14lbs or so. So 4 months ago I decided to enter a bodybuilding comp and started dieting hard! Weight was dropping off and was feeling great up until a few weeks ago. One sunday I decided to have a day and eat what ever I wanted and I mean anything and felt great untill the next day! Just after my second meal in work, I felt funny. Started to sweat and felt weak and as if I was going to pass out, then I started to shake uncontrollably! It eventually passed but was whiped for days! Done some research and I found out It sounded as if I went into a hypo! This scared me and a few days later it happend again. Went straight to hospital but my blood work came back fine! But keep getting these symptoms out the blue. Had one just on sunday there and went to hospital again. But my blood sugar came back fine and was told to see my GP. So had a chat with my GP yesterday and she said it could be a drop in blood sugar or my anxiety, and was sent for blood tests to check my thyroid and blood sugars again. so had 1 blood test all ready and two blood glucose tests done and they have all came back fine. About 2 hours ago I got the shakes, sweaty d felt as if I was going to faint. Had some sugar immediately and had a meal 20 minutes later and feel better. Really at my whits endjust now cause not sure if its a blood sugar issue or my anxiety. Really frightened if its hypoglycemia or diabetes. Its so frustrating as I cant train properly and so scared to do anything! Am I really panicking over nothing? Really concious of it now and its a horrible feeling that I cant control! Has anyone else got blood sugar issues that could help me? Or felt like this suddenly?
