One bible verse (I see you use scripture) I have been clinging to in this flair up of HA is John 10:10 the last part says 'I came that you may have life and have it abundantly' Heatlthanxious
Yes, this sums up what I'm trying to say perfectly. And I intend on making sure I engrave this scripture in my heart. Because, it's so true. I wasn't created to be a being of fear and worry...but of, love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. (Fruits of the Spirit).
Yes, I'll still have my "moments"...but that's all they'll be, "moments", not days, not weeks, not years.cj919
- Glad my words and experiences have helped you a little. Continue your therapy and keep pushing forward! If you get knocked down..get up, dust off and keep going.Jenniferio
- Some days, (and now they are fewer and far between), I'm going on thought by thought, prayer by prayer...but, I refuse to give up and surrender to HA anymore. I'm in control of me. So, don't get down about having bad days. Just keep moving forward.
- Good for you for taking positive steps. Just keep taking them. Distraction is very good. Keeping your mind and hands busy is good. And as far as worrying even though we are Christians...God knows whats on your mind and in your heart, so you might as well be completely honest in your talks with him. I tell him on the days I'm struggling, that I'm having a hard time trusting, that I'm afraid...I lay it all out there. And then I let him reign me back in and understand that no matter the trial... He will be there.
For the Christians- Here is one more verse for you to hold onto Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, "For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered." But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
