I cannot believe that I now have another new fear, and something to be anxious about. But what can I do, I have so many symptoms, itís hard not to believe things I read. Admittedly, the past few months I have gone through fears, and had many symptoms of; heart disease/attack, MS, lupus, lyme disease, rheumatoid arthritis, brain tumour, ovarian, breast, colon, oral and skin cancers and probably more.
Right now Iím a wreck. Before I even knew what nodes were, I had a small lump on my neck (under jaw) which I had an ultrasound on and the results came back clear. I accepted this (before my HA started). The doctor told me it was a gland that just stayed enlarged after one too many throat infections. I took her word for it, and left it alone. I now realise she used the word gland instead of node, probably so as I wouldnít ponder more. Recently, after reading a lot of posts regarding enlarged lymph nodes, I began to worry and prod at this (what I now know to be a node) in my neck. It seems to have become enlarged since then. Not only that, but another one has appeared beside it. A third one also appeared on the opposite side, but that seems to have gone down a bit now. So naturally, after reading all of these posts, I googled, and found lots of my symptoms match that of lymphoma. Last night, for seemingly no reason, I began sneezing, and got a headache and I appear now to have a cold. This is very rare for me, I donít usually get colds. So I googled more symptoms and now Iím worried about leukemia too. I get lots of bruises on my legs, yellowish in colour. I had put this down to playing with my baby on the ground, but now I donít know. My legs seem to be the only area that has bruises. I have always bruised quite easily, but never really had as many small bruises as this. I also have a small purpleish patch on the back of my calf. Itís not like a bruise, because it has been there a while, it seems like a new permanent fixture. And then thereís the abdominal issues, knee pain, neck pain and stiffness , mouth sores & ulcers, along with other random aches and pains which come and go and nausea.
Iíve have blood work done a few times the past few months and each time results have been normal. Is it possible for blood work to be normal, and still have one of these diseases? I had a blood transfusion a few months ago, could this have anything to do with it? Iím completely petrified and convinced I have a life threatening illness. Please someone help me.
