add meds: helpful or hurtful?

lawstudent recently diagnosed w/ ADD. i have found that details are easier to remember and i am better able to participate in the dreaded Socratic dialogue. HOWEVER, if you crunch them up and snort them they give cocaine a run for the money! 

i welcome the responses of other Focalin/Adderol/Rittalin people to this question. Given our propensity to act on impulse do you find that you are able to resist the urge to abuse these drugs?

anything
