« on: June 07, 2006, 10:12:33 AM »
does nebody ever get episodes of confusion during a restless night, I have been climbing the walls with anxiety the last couple of days and as a result my sleep has been poor. last nite i slept for a few hours and awoke in this really dissociated and confused state which persisted until i went to work this morning. i consistently worry that i am going schizophrenic can ne1 put my mind at ease and attribute this to anxiety alone? p.s. i also suffer from depression

Does living with anxiety get easier over time or more difficult? Do you ever get used to it?

well, theres been people that have anxiety for decades from what i understand.  But what i also understand is, when you come to ACCEPT your anxiety, and not let it bother you, then thats when it GOES AWAY.  So if you can learn to not fight it, and just accept it..truely accept it, then it will gradually go away.
