Good evening all. I just wanted to pop my head in for a few minutes to give an update, as so many of you were very helpful when I was going through my recent bout of HA.

In order, I managed to convince myself I had HIV, then MS, then ALS, then Parkinsons, because I'm shaking a lot, my vision is blurry, I've getting muscle twinges all over and I've got a weird dead leg feeling. I've accepted that it's health anxiety, after seeing a neurologist who was very helpful and went through my concerns with me.

The last few days, perhaps the last week and a half, I've felt a lot more like my old self. I stopped taking my citalopram after three days after deciding that, if this problem was in my mind, then I'd beat it with my mind - and it seems to be working. I've had hours go by when I haven't thought about it, and when I've noticed my shaking, I've told myself it's anxiety or just a benign tremor and just 'cracked on'.

I DO still have concerns - my ears keep ringing and the one thing I've held onto is the fact that all of these problems started after I had a Hep B vaccine - but then I also had the vaccine at a time when all the stress started, so maybe I'm linking. Who knows? Nowt I can do about it!

I may slip back into worrying, possibly I will - but I'm writing this as a sort of 'memory' so that if it does kick off, I can tell myself it'll all come good again.

Keep hoping!

Glad to hear you ate doing better. I've had a read of your blog and smiled to myself when you questioned 'no significant abnormalities' on your MRI. I felt the exact same when that was on my report. It's hard to accept such physical symtoms are anxiety. I've had soooo many. Latest one for me is constant tight feeling in my throat... The joys!!! Take care :)
