wu wei zi tea
« on: March 22, 2013, 12:44:39 PM »
Has anyone ever tried Wu Wei Zi tea? I'm reading it's suppose to help keep the adrenal gland from being overactive, make you relaxed and have more energy. Just wondering if it works before I go buy it. Any thoughts?

I have not tried it...not even heard of it...but I wanted to chime in.

I use teas a lot when I am feeling anxious.  I have found that sipping a hot cup of tea is soothing and it takes time to drink...so I can just sit back and relax and enjoy.  My go to teas are chamomile, peppermint and rooibos.  It really helps me.

Never heard of it either ... but yes, teas are great.  The ones mentioned above are my top 3 as well.

Teas are great. I use ginger root. Cannot do green or black or peppermint because of reflux. Just bought roibos and papaya but havent tried them yet. Its true. A warm cup of tea is very calming. Plus I tend to sip it whereas when I used to drink coffee I would gulp it down

One I recently discovered was the Sleepytime brand with valerian.  My melatonin stopped working so well, so I tried this. It has a calming affect that doesn't really make me sleepy but relaxed enough to fall asleep.
