So since December I've been experiencing pressure around my head, a runny nose and sometimes facial pain. Insert months of concern, a possible brain tumor and CT scan which came back normal. Today I woke feeling semi-positive. I decided to see a doctor to take another step towards getting rid of whatever it is I have. This practice is university based and they have several different doctors: no student is assigned to one specific doctor. The last I visited told me to wait until the results were back, and if they were fine we'd take it from there and she'd maybe refer me to ENT. Yay, action! Today I saw a different one who I've talked to in the past, and who I felt really didn't take me seriously on either occasion. Yet again she attributes the pressure to stress and anxiety, and she gave me some antidepressants to help with the pain(?!).
I'm so tired of this never ending cycle, it feels as though this is going to go on forever. I'm not sure if there's much point in this post rather than to let all my frustration out. I don't feel like this is hypochondria: I'm not suggesting I have a life-threatening illness, I'm just sure this is a sinus infection and that all this messing around is only going to make it worse and less treatable. Blah. I guess I'll take the pills and see if they help, but I'll more than likely go back to the medical center some point soon and get another opinion.

I had something similar.  I had a constant medium sized tension headache every day.  Pressure in sinuses etc.  It was extremely irritating to never feel just ok.  I had a CT etc.  I also went to physio.  This went on for 4 months.  The physio involved stretching etc.  For a couple of weeks the physio guy put a weight on my head pulling my head away from my neck.  It was kind of strange and I felt strange after but one day he must have put extra weight on and I felt kind of dizzy and blurry.  The next day the headaches were gone.  Haven't come back (except for occasional of course).  You will find the answer too.

Hope this helps.

I'm right there eith ya'. I think you have responded to a few of my posts, but seems we are in almost the exact same boat! Except i still think there is something incredibly sinister going in :-s today I had a physical therapist stretch me today again. Felt good at the time and eased the headsche for about an hour, then it came back... I'm sooooo sick of this!!! I have a chiropractor appointment on Monday as well as a massage therapist appointment, I'm hoping for good results, i will let ya know how it turns out. Also I just ordered some thieves oil. It's an essential oil you put on the roof of your mouth when a headache strikes. I dunno it sounds like hocus pocus to me but a friend of mine suggested it. She gets debilitating migraines that she used to take imitrex for... Just a few drops of this stuff relieves 95% of her headaches, she claims. I will let ya know if it works! Are your headaches constant or come on during the day? Mine usually come on between 12 and 4 pm. Also going for a run, or other cardio exercise, will relieve them... At least for a while.
