Eye troubles
« on: March 21, 2013, 03:54:04 PM »
My eyes are giving me the business lately.  My visual snow has turned itself up to eleven, my distance vision is lessening (my eyesight is terrible anyway) and I have trouble...I don't know how to explain it.  Like if I'm looking at something close, like a computer screen, and then try to look at something far away, my eyes take a second to, like, switch modes...it's like looking through a focusing camera lens.  It takes a second and I can see the image go from blurry to clearer.

I don't know if it's anxiety - I am anxious a lot, but it's my understanding that anxiety causes blurred vision due to pupil dilation, and my pupils are very constricted.

I nave also noticed my eyes doing this lately as well. I'll be looking at TV or out the window and when I turn to look at something else, its .Ike my eyes need to adjust focus because everything seems blurry and then slowly it begins clearing to sharper. I thought it was just some eye trick that I was focusing in and wasn't real but since your having the same thing, I suppose it could be anxiety or maybe just a normal eye reaction we are being hyper vigilant about.

My visual snow is also turned up to the point that its difficult for me to see at night or in any darkness. I'm thinking again it could be I'm just hyper vigilant about it and noticing it more or my migraines are affecting it.

Anxiety can cause a lot of vision disturbances. Its nit the anxiety itself but the hyper vigilance of things that are normal but usually go unnoticed.

I seem to remember you saying a while ago your eyes were playing up and you were going to get an eye test, did you ever get it done?
