because those are the spots your nerves are getting nervy in.

with anxiety and stress a body gets amped up.  the body will react in very strange ways...

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

It's kinda weird though because I have them at random times, not only when anxious...

Have you ever read any books explaining anxiety (ie self help for your nerves by Dr Claire weekes)? I am finding it helpful in understanding why these crazy things are happening. Once your nervous system is messed up it takes quite a while for it to calm down. So, whether your anxious or not, your nerves don't care.

Oh yes I get these tingling feelings on my face. It weirdly happens to me when I'm laying in bed at night or when waking in the morning. Hate that feeling. I get them in a lot of places though but the face probably bothers me the most because it feels so creepy crawly. I never feel anxious when I get them. Sometimes I'm asleep even!

Momo-I'm totally going to check out that book. I would love to find out the "science" behind what I feel. I'm definitely a person that needs an explanation for everything, I can't just accept that it is the way it is lol. Probably part of the disorder but oh well. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re-read Sixpacks signature line.  You don't have to be currently freaking out about something to feel the effects of long term stress.

Thanks, I'm also experiencing a skin crawling sensation when my hand is by my side, but I'm guessing you guys think its the same thing?

I'm just worried though, how do I know it's this and not something else? That's what bugs me most about HA.
