So lately I've been having digestive problems, I think I have IBS and I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to find out but what's really weird is, my gf and I have been dating since December and she's my best friend our relationship is very healthy and happy and I'm very very happy with her.

But since I've been sick I haven't seen her but we talk. Whenever I think about seeing her again I get really anxious and my stomach acts up. I don't understand why I'm getting anxiety whenever I think about seeing her when before all this started happening I was absolutely happy and could not wait to be with her whenever we were apart.

So this feeling doesn't make any sense to me. Could it just be nerves? Could it just be because I haven't green feeling well since I last saw her? It's really scaring me because I know she's prefect for me so why :: do I feel anxious about being with her when I never was before?! Has anyone experienced this?

Please help!

You might simply have this IBS on your mind. Something you would not like happen around this girl. So until you can get the problem with the IBS sorted out it may always be an issue. Just a fear that you may need the bathroom and have to run like hell before you slip up. That is my nice way of putting it. Maybe you simply just don't want your girlfriend to see any of this at all. It might be good to let her know that you might have IBS. You might not have it either. But explain what it is. What can happen to you if IBS kicks in. She will be understanding. It may make things a big bit easier for you. Hope all goes well.
