Brief Psychotic Episodes?

I was wondering if anyone else here has ever suffered from Psychosis NOS or brief psychotic episodes and is willing to discuss what they have done to alleviate the shock. I feel like more information about the condition might help calm my frazzled anxious mind, but my current Psychiatrist isn't helpful in providing more information about the disorder. He only states that I should stay on anti-psychotics and hopes that it will prevent them from returning in times of stress.

Any help would be deeply appreciated!
