Don't panic. This happened to me a few months ago. My husband came down with a horrible stomach flu and I went to panicking immediately. I hadn't had to deal with someone having the stomach flu for 6 years. I freaked. I worried I was going to get it and our daughter was going to get it. It made me feel sick all the time thinking I was going to get sick.

The best thing I did was bleach everything. The more I did to prevent the spread the better I felt. I even wore latex gloves and a surgical mask while cleaning and taking care of my husband. Thinking about the potential of getting it made it 10 times worse but the more I cleaned my house the better I felt (I'm realizing as I write this that might be a little OCD but hey it helped and my house was really clean!). And I feel because I did all that I didn't get it!

Take your vitamin c's and probiotics, wash your hands and breathe deep. I feel for you. That is horribly stressful. There is a real good chance you won't get it!

Oh man, that's the worst. I've had emetophobia for 13 years, read an article about the norovirus outbreak online a few weeks ago and I've been in a constant state of panic ever since. What actually helped was when I was googling norovirus outbreaks in my city, I found out there had been an outbreak at my university last year, I never even knew about it and never got sick. And I was eating in the cafeteria every day. It just goes to show that being near a sick person does not mean you will get sick.
Wash your hands a lot and hang in there, the virus only lasts a few days anyway so she won't be sick for long! She's probably better already.
