I hate this crap so much.

Two neurologist visits, nothing alarming found.  I was finally able to let it go, move on, start calling therapists again, found someone who seems like a good match...

Bam, right back to the brain tumor.  Nothing has really changed (no better, no worse) except the nearsightedness is getting to me more.  Can't read street signs, etc.  I know realistically I probably just need new glasses or eye drops or less computer time.  But all I can think is brain tumor.

Sigh.  It's like every single time I start to take steps forward my health anxiety starts trying to preserve itself somehow!  "You're going to someone who can help you get rid of me?  Can't have this!  Spend your time wanting to go back to medical doctors!"

I can relate to how you feel. I'm too scared to even try and move on or think positivity because I now link those things to my (possible) health anxiety. Something bad always seems to happen after I make even just one good step, so subsequently I find myself living in limbo, achieving nothing and just getting by waiting for the next bad thing to happen...
I also have brain tumor fears at the moment. You've been given the okay by neurologists so to me it sounds highly likely that you simply have vision problems. Have you had your eyes tested? New glasses, better vision, fresh start!

Yeah, I'm sure a neurologist with many years of experience would know if I was showing any disturbing symptoms so it's probably my eyes.  My eyesight is pretty terrible.  It's just weird that it deteriorated so quickly - usually I don't notice it getting worse.  Oh well.  Better get some money together and see an eye doctor...I need new glasses anyway (these have been sat on a few times); might as well get a new prescription.

I'm the same. It's one thing after the other with me, I just get over one fear and another one rears its ugly head. I just want it all to stop and to feel symptom free for a while, but like you it feels like my brain stymies me in this and says 'quick she's starting to relax... cue another symptom.'

I know just how you feel Molly. I have been so bad these past few weeks that I have a major health scare every few days and I movefrom one tthing straight to the next, then back to my default fears. It really is exhausting and some days I just don't want to play any more.
