Weird floater

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and I woke up this morning with a floater that only appears when I blink or move my eye around. It's not really a floater though, it almost looks like a light was burned into a little part of my vision. It's weird. Would this be something to go back to my optometrist for?

Omg!!! I used to get that all the time. I think its from a slight eye strain and its causing a bit of a pressure ectopic phenominon. Kind like if you press on your eye you see stuff.  I have had a more severe case of it from an optical migraine.   But mostly from an eye strain

Thanks! It's driving me bonkers! Hopefully it goes away soon! I can deal with the normal floaters, but these are kind of annoying!

Oh I know, everytime id blink or look to the right I would see it. It lasted awhile but then faded out

Yep! That's exactly what mine is doing! I think it's gone now though! Knock on wood
