New to the Anxiety Zone
« on: March 13, 2013, 12:24:42 PM »
Hi I am new to Anxiety zone, heck I'm new to forums in general. I have had Anxiety for a little bit over a year now and I am slowly learning how to deal with it. I have read quite a few of the post on this forum and I loved how supportive everybody is and everyone gives the best advice they can. The key factor tah made me join something like this is because I recently had what I call a "bad thought", I was sitting in class one evening and all of a sudden a thought about divorcing my husband came into my head out of no where. I would never want to do that my husband is everything to me, so now for the past week I have been in a constant anxious state (my stomach will feel upset, I cry alot, i feel a constant pressure in my chest) and I get really nervous when I am around my husband now. I keep trying to justify myself by constantly telling myself I love my husband I would never want to leave him, but the bad thougt just wont go away. I feel terrible because I am constantly venting to my husband about this and I just want to go back to normal. Any advice on how to deal with this. This isn't my first bad thought my first one was about hurting my daughter and I got over that one in about 2 weeks, I am jsut tired of feeling sick and chest pain and tired of feeling tired. Thanks for the advice in advance

Hello there, welcome to the site

Glad you found us. I know you will find plenty of information and support here.
Lots of people going through similar things here.

You should also post your story in the Relationship forum for more specific replies

There is plenty to do around the forum as well as a great chat room (once you have 3 posts, and is for 18's and over only)

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I look forward to seeing you around the site :-)
