worried sick about my son....please help!

Hi, I am so worried about my 5 yr old.  He has been for some 3 days complaining of stomach aches just above his navel.  Took him to a gp and pediatrician as he got fever yesterday but they do not seem concerned.  I feel I am about to die and would like to give up. Do not know what to do or feel. I really think I should call it a day as life makes no sense.

Listen to the doctors!, they went through lots of education and are probably quite experienced. Accepting that everything is fine is a really hard thing to do with anxiety. but fight through it, and if it gets even harder. fight harder. keep your head up.

It may be a stomach virus. We have the same thing going on here. It has turned into a horrific stomach virus for all of us minus my husband. Keep him hydrated and comfortable and I bet in a few days he will be ok.

You can never tell a parent to not worry about their child but I assure you if the doctors were concerned about your son's pain proper steps would be taken. It sounds like a stomach virus but I'm not a doctor. Listen to the professionals and do whatever they say to help your son feel better.

If the doctors were  concerned they'd have done something. It definitely sounds like a stomach virus.
