How did you do it and how do you keep it going? I know that some of you here have it under control like Sixpack, floridaguy and others, how do you cope with health problems now? And also do you fear death? This is a big fear of mine and fuels my HA, so I wonder if those that have managed to control their HA don't have a fear of dying like I do as that seems to be my biggest hurdle and my hardest fear to face.

Just looking for some insight as to how some of you have managed to tame the beast. I've spent the day writing out rational arguments against my current fears - the CBT way - beasty (as Sixpack calls it) on one side and rational thinking and explanations on the other. Even with it in black and white I find it hard to accept the most rational explanations. I just want to get over this, to be able to face health problems without meltdown, any insights into how you guys have done it would be very welcome.
