At the dentist, hate this feeling.

They just gave me the shot and half my mouth is numb, feels like my tongue is swollen and I'm constantly using the spit sucker cause I'm afraid if I try to swallow I'll swallow my tongue. I knew I should have rescheduled. I could have done it the 4th of never.

Just hang in there ... you will be done with this before you know it.  Does your dentist have music or something you can listen to while you're being worked on?

you can't swallow your tongue, so don't worry about that. You'll be fine, it'll be over soon.

Thank you both. I really appreciate the kind words. Once she actually came in the room and started working, it got better. The numbness is almost gone now. So, yay!
