Birth control pill causing anxiety?

I've been on the pill for about 12 years. My man has always said I had an anxiety problem (I never noticed myself), but I never had a panic attack until this last December. Do you think the pill could be a problem even though I've been on it so long?

If you do a quick web search, you will find several articles and sites that do draw a correlation between birth control (depending on the type) and anxiety and depression because birth control also has an impact on brain chemistry. Don't know if this helps, but check it out . . . just make sure that you visit reputable sites for information. Perhaps your best bet is a visit to your doctor and ask him/her these questions . . .  by the way, just because your "man" says you have an anxiety problem, it's not necessarily true  Take care, KC
