Weird Eye pain and headaches

For the past 3-4 months I have been suffering some weird symptoms that my doctor cant seem to explain. Basically, my right eye have been have some shooting-type pains going through it and it happens everyday. The aren't very painful, just more annoying than anything. It is usually at the top of my eye and lasts only about a second. As well, i have been getting the same type of shooting pain in the top of my head on the right side as well. My vision has not changed and the doctor says i do not have any signs of catarax or glaucoma. Im started to become very worried.

The one thing that is scaring me is that I may not even be anxious about anything or I might not be stressed and these symptoms will start.

I also want to mention that these pains come usually when I am sitting at home or I am at school. I went out to dinner the other night and the pains were not present but once I came back and started watching tv the symptoms returned. 

I was wondering
1) if anyone else has had these types of symptoms
2) if they are symptoms of anxiety or if there is something actually wrong with me.
3) is it possible to get anxiety symptoms without having an anxiety feelings or anything that is making you anxious??

I get his in my left eye and sometimes my right, it's due to tired / strained eyes. It gives you a hell of a fright when it happens, but it's just telling you to rest your eyes. I got my eyes checked the other day and they told me I have dry eyes and to put a hot/warm cloth over my eyes each night for a few minutes. I found this great and after a few days it really helped. Maybe something to try?

I have had these symptoms but on the left side of my head, In my case it was something called a tension headache, I was also clenching my jaw which can tighten the muscles In my eye causing random pains.

I'm having the shooting pains in my head today. They are in the same spot on the left. It's scary but I remember going yo my doctor for this and she said it was my anxiety
