Fatigue Worries
« on: March 09, 2013, 07:21:15 PM »
This could be just part of everyday life, but does anyone else have certain times during the day when they just feel completely wiped out?  Like I've said before I began suffering from some anxiety starting last November.  Some days are better than others.  Some days I'm completely normal, others I feel miserable.

There are different times during some days where I just feel completely wiped out.  Sometimes it hits between 2-4 and other times from 7-8.  And then at night I almost have problems going to sleep and I'm up until 2 or 3 in the morning, I'm not even tired at night I don't get it.  Does anyone else have fatigue associated with their anxiety?

I have the same thing! I usually have to nap when I get home from class from 6ish to 8ish, and then I can't sleep until 3 or 4 in the morning. It's really frustrating because I have stuff I need to do, but I just can't keep my eyes open. I'm not really worried about it, I think I just have a bad sleep schedule that I can't break.

YES, I get this. It comes at various times  and it feels like I must take a nap. It is an overwhelming feeling of fatigue. Interestingly, if I am very involved in some kind of project, I really don't notice it, or I work right through it. Right at this moment I am starting to feel it and would love to close my eyes and take a quick nap. Yesterday I experienced a lot of anxiety and stress, so that probably has something to do with it.

See right now I feel like I could take a nap, I didn't do anything really that much today, but I'm wiped out right now.  If I do something on the computer for a little bit or play some games or something to get my mind off fatigue, I won't be tired anymore and I won't go to bed until late tonight.

I am tired all the time.
I have to push myself a lot of the time to do things.
I do have my waves of energy.
I am also a woman in her late 40's who has chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.
I have also been under a lot of stress and anxiety for some time. It has been about my health and the health of family members.
There is such a thing as adrenal fatigue too. But to get fatigued around 2 or 4 pm is caused a lot of times by having the food that you ate at lunch settling.
I have been told I have adrenal fatigue but then I wonder about if it could be other things as well.
I worry about heart attacks and heart health. (my mother had two -14 hour heart surgeries in the last 12 months). My father had a stroke and a number of melanoma surgeries in the last year and a half. So those are some of my worries.
I am anxiety ridden right now because of my dental health. I had a temporary crown done two days ago and my mouth hurts. I have TMJ (one of the ways I express my stress unconsciously). I have a hard time sleeping at night and I have costochondritis that causes me to worry about other things happening to my own body.
Stress, anxiety and worry can cause your cortisol levels to whack out.
I try to stay away from the artificial stimulants of caffeine via a beverage or chocolate.
I have been told on numerous occasions by my doctor to do exercise. I do exercise somedays more than others. It seems count to the fatigue but I have to say sometimes it really does work.
your body could also be dehydrated. Dehydration is a big cause of being fatigue.
Are you getting the required vitamins and minerals too?
I have noticed while I do have these extenuating circumstances drinking water and keeping hydrated and watching what I eat and the vitamins and the exercise have helped me.
I think that perhaps you might want to see your doctor. These are things that helped me but your doctor could give you specifics to you.
