Hey, ever notice things in peripheral vision?
« on: March 09, 2013, 09:32:43 AM »
So... I have been doing a lot better with my anxiety by cutting carbs and sugar out of my diet. Unfortunately, during "that time of month" I did get a slight spike in my anxiety. I noticed that I see a thin line in my peripheral vision (left eye)... I cant figure out what it could be, I will say that when I open my eye wide I don't notice it so, that leads me to believe it is an eye lash.
I do struggle with the stupid brain tumor thought.. I have been telling myself the last few days that it is nothing but, I wanted to  see if anyone else ever notices things in their peripheral vision??

The first time it happened to me, I thought I was having a stroke.  It is an optical thing that happens.  Mine tend to be either lines or flashing lights.  And they are only in my peripheral vision.  It is the same thing that happens to people that get migraines.  But for me, (And you if it is the same) a migraine never follows.  Just the "aura".  It is pretty common.
