So this is me..
« on: March 07, 2013, 12:59:34 PM »
I started having anxiety attacks about 4 weeks ago..it all started while I was sitting on my couch watching t.v..blam out of nowhere it starts the heart pounding feeling like I'm going to pass out..lasted maybe 5 minutes..had about three more in the next three days..saw my doc who prescribed me vistaril..didn't have another attack for a couple of days..I keep having these weird feelings all day and it hasn't gotten better
1.dizziness
2.strange brain electric type zaps
3.head movement makes my brain feel like it's floating
4.rice krispies noise at base of skull sometimes
These don't sound like it's anxiety to me..very frustrating wish I had someone to help me feel like I'm being listened to and not just swept under the rug with "oh it's anxiety" or help me understand this better

Hello there, welcome to the site

Glad you found us. I know you will find plenty of information and support here.
Lots of people going through similar things here.

There is plenty to do around the forum as well as a great chat room (once you have 3 posts, and is for 18's and over only)

To address your symptoms, it sounds like neck tension and maybe not drinking enough water. Tension in the neck can cause all of those. I suggest using an ice pack for ten minutes on the neck then a heat pad for ten mins, then leave it for half an hour then repeat

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I look forward to seeing you around the site :-)

Just to add to the above post, you should be aiming for half your body weight in ounces (of water per day). So if you're 100 lbs, you should be drinking 50 ounces per day. The standard "eight glasses a day" doesn't apply to most people.

There is a chance of slight dehydration that can cause the symptoms you've mentioned.

I would also look into food intolerances such as gluten, wheat and dairy.

You are most welcome, Patricia. You are right in that it really can't hurt, since what we're suggesting is completely natural with no risk whatsoever. It's a matter of nothing to lose, everything to gain.

Good luck!
