After a breakdown I feel relieved. Defeated, but calm.
« on: March 06, 2013, 09:26:17 PM »
After I really eff things up by over anaylizing and driving everyone up a wall, I feel exhausted from my anxiety and depression afterwards from the stress I had caused. Then I feel mellow, slow to jump to conclusions, at peace. I also notice when I'm sleep deprived (although it does not feel great to  be) I function better going at a slower pace. I ACTUALLY get more accomplished when my mental energy is slow. Can you relate?

In my own opinion there is a certain limit we can reach. Let us call it complete burn out. We can't go any lower at all. So we can begin to function better. Kind of like we have burned ourselves out already. In one sense it is a big release of all that anxiety. So with it all burned out you can be more at ease with yourself. Hence exercise can be great for anybody with anxiety. That can also help to burn off the energy that is our anxiety. Sounds like you just feel better one you let it all out of your system. Which does happen.
