Had my ultrasound today
« on: March 06, 2013, 08:57:32 PM »
I had my pelvic ultrasound today and the woman doing it was very nice . She told me that one of my ovaries was fine and dandy and still working 100% but the second one looked like it was going menopausal, it was starting to shrivel and looked underactive. Anyway now a week to wait to see what the gynaecologist says about the results, she didn't mention cancer so I have my fingers crossed that it was all clear. It was nice to actually get some information there an then, most radiologists don't tell you anything at all.

Glad that is behind you!! Praying that your doctor doesn't dismiss the menopause symtoms and findings!

Are you still sweating?

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.
